This role is an immediate start to initially work remotely with the plan to relocate once the Pandemic is over. This is a permanent full time onsite role however the Studio has adapted their process to the current situation.
Responsibilities:
👍Writing efficient and reliable Unity scripts using C#.
👍Helping the team highlight and solve potential issues in the codebase.
👍Working closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to create game-play features.
👍Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements:
👍At least one shipped product on mobile or console platforms.
👍Minimum of 2 years video games industry or equivalent experience.
👍A clear understanding of the particular challenges in game development, such as art workflow, performance optimisation, memory management and supporting multiple platforms.
👍Working knowledge of version control software (SVN, Perforce).
👍Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
👍👍 Must have the ability to initially work from home, so a suitable home office and equipment, required licenses will be provided.
👍Experience working in network game development.
👍Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following languages C++, LUA or JavaScript.
👍Experience writing efficient GPU shaders for mobile platforms.
👍👍 This is a full time permanent role so you must be able to relocate (if you are not local) at a later date.
