** Remote working available. this studio has decided that due to current circumstances they are going to continue to hire for their critical roles and start everyone remotely. You will however be required to relocate and work onsite at the Studio once the Pandemic has ended.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have previous experience of leading a team remotely.
Your team will be responsible for continuously improve the engine and tools, and ensure that the game projects leverage the full potential of the shared technology. As a person you are a team player with a strong desire to gain insight into the realities of the day-to-day work and challenges for the game production teams. You are pragmatic and results-oriented with the ability to quickly absorb new information and transform it into creative solutions. You also have a sense of urgency and ability to cope with short lead-times. In performing this role you will be able to make a great impact on the value realized from the studios shared technology throughout the game productions. Requirements:
š„Strong coordination and collaboration skills
š„At least 5 years of professional AAA game programming experience for PC console
š„Excellent programming skills in C/C++
š„Bachelor's degree in software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience
š„Fluent in English, both written and spoken
š„Experience in Python, Lua or similar
š„Tool frontend / GUI development
š„Automated software testing (e.g. TDD)
š„Experience with agile development (e.g. Kanban/Scrum)
